Post New Acronym
Submitting anonymously: You are posting a new acronym as an anonymous user. This means your submission will be placed into a review queue and will not be immediately available on the site. SIMS members can post acronyms and have them post directly to the Portal—please
log in if you are already a member.
Add Relevant Data in One or More Languages
Fill out the acronym, the definition, and (optionally) the description and relevant URL.
Multiple Language Support
When possible, add the equivalent acronym and associated data to your submission. Remember, it isn't just the definition that changes in other languages, but the acronym itself. For example, IFRC in English becomes FICR in Spanish.
Final Approval
A SIMS administrator must review all submissions and manually approve them before they get posted. They check for accuracy, possible duplications, and translation.
