Description
This map displays the magnitude of people who crossed Ukraine's borders into neighboring countries by October 2022. The map uses colored gradients to visualize the population movement, a technique which addresses the concerns from the data visualization community at that time that other common visual representations of population movement (such as arrows or proportional circles) were inadequate or potentially controversial.
